“I have been a teacher for 24 years and a Montessorian for 20 of them. I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, running, kayaking, playing music, or dancing. I have two grown sons who were Montessori kids and a step son. My first experiences with Montessori were as a 3-6 and lower elementary student and when my grandparents sold Montessori materials they imported from their home country, the Netherlands.”

“My first Montessori experience was at 3 years old at a school in Florida with Ms. Sally. I began my Montessori teaching journey in 2003. My favorite part of the beginning of the school year is seeing the awe on students’ faces as they experience the Great Lessons. Outside of school, I love to dance, sing, and spend time outside with my two kids who both attend DMS.”

“I am a peaceful person who values family. I love being outdoors year-round. I camp, hike, crochet and knit. I can and preserve food, too. I have lived in Fairborn since 1980. I started a career in youth ministry in the early 1990’s. My two daughters attended Montessori school from age 3 to 12. In the past, I was an assistant teacher for the 3 to 6 classroom. I received the Distinguished Youth Service Award from Unity Worldwide Ministries. I ‘retired’ early and travel with my husband.”
