Substitute Teaching Assistant
Position: Substitute Teaching Assistant
Hours: Part-Time, On-call on school days. Some days will be pre-arranged. Some days will be last minute calls. Ability to attend to texts and respond promptly required.
Education: HS diploma required, other trainings will be provided and required No previous educational experience required.
Job Description: Supervise students while classroom teacher is teaching. Maintain safe and peaceful learning environment. Check work of students as instructed by classroom teacher. Assist with set up and maintenance of the Montessori environment. Work with other classrooms when needed. Other positives: Ability to multi-task, comfortably and respectfully interact with children, follow directions, organize, pause, observe, and maintain an environment conducive to peaceful learning. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.

Music Teacher, Art Teacher
Position(s): Music Teacher, Art Teacher- We are seeking qualified teachers for Music, and Art. Candidates can be qualified for one or more of these positions
Hours: Part-Time, weekly small group lessons, generally around one afternoon a week per subject. Schedule will be mutually arranged.
Education/ Prior Experience: HS diploma required. College degree, advanced coursework, or substantial experience in subject area preferred. Experience working with children in an educational setting.
Job Description: Plan and present lessons and educational activities in given subject area. Learn about, teach, and interact with students using the Montessori philosophy. Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn, adjust, and grow as a Montessori teacher. Coordinate with classroom teachers to provide appropriate follow-up activities for students and receive feedback. Communicate with classroom teachers about students’ progress. Enjoy your subject and working with students in an environment of trust, respect, and peace.
